What is the fastest single video card out there?

What is the fastest single video card out today? Could you link it + some charts/reviews?

Also, is it ok to mix Nvidia and ATI on one machine?

I do not believe you can. Driver issues will be the biggest issue that I can see. Just get two of the 5870s

Pretty sure from what I've read, the ATI 5870 is better then anything Nvidia has, and is better then the new Fermi cards.

ATI has won with round of the graphic card wars, by a substantial margin.

480 is fastest single chip solution according to many websites, too bad there are no many of them available in the market. 480 is also good if you're trying to make your house warmer, it's hot.

Thanks for the review, yup the 480 does look to be the faster GPU!

Have you heard if either Nvidia or ATI are coming out with a new GPU, this way I don't cry when I buy one and hear a faster one is around the corner?
