Framerate depends on a lot of things, and if you are using VP6, framerate will always fluxuate based on your system resources. So that is what you would want to check into.

Hmm.. kay.
Only used VP6, haven't tried that H264, but when I tried 3.1, I was shocked.
Had 60% CPU usage on idle, wth? 100% on with WoW.

But is H264 easier on the computer, without sacrificing the quality of stream?

Here is the difference:

VP6 will vary framerate based on resources
H.264 will maintain framerate but vary quality based on resources.

FME 2.5 VP6 is single threaded
FME 3.x VP6 is multi-threaded, however, FME 3.x uses a ton more CPU.

Hmm okay, gotta try H264 later then to see if theres any difference for me..
But do you have some sort of vid/explaining on how to do 2comp streaming? Or commentary?
Like for commentary, mic into mixer or computer?
I got an asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard, and it's got ALOT of sound inputs on the back..

I ditched 2 comp streaming until the day comes when a good USB 3.0 device can do full frame 1920x1080 60p. I don't think they exist yet.

Heh, ye.

H264 was horrible for me, had 60% cpu usage doing nothing and was real bad quality.. VP6's best for me.

But I really want to know how to setup with an extra computer for encoding, as I have a good PC doing nothing here..
