What is your budget, if you dont mind me asking? Our multiboxers have a ton of collective experience in all ranges of builds. We could set you up with a shopping list and some advice.

Also depending on the budget, 2 or 3 lower end systems (if you have the space) can sometimes be a better decision as far as bang for your buck.

I dont know the pounds to dollars conversion, but i just built my 1st rig for around $700. Its not a bad set up and I can box up to 10 toons and still broadcast, play music and watch Tim's stream =)

Edit: and I built it myself =)

From: Currency Calculator

At today's exchange rates, 500.00 British Pounds = 831.40 US Dollars.

It is not even really building a computer you are just putting it together.

$831 is well enough to build a good PC to multibox.

Try this:

E8400 Intel CPU
Geforce 250GTS
4GIG RAM
320G HD
DVDRW
500W Power
Case

All of those above are around $600, leaving you lots of room.
