Severe frame rate drop in Ashenvale.

I usually have around 100-200fps in zones like other zones, but right when I enter Ashenvale, my fps drops severely to double digits, 20-30fps and randomly spike up to 100 and drop down again.

Is it just the zone or something going on?

there is a lot of grass and trees to render. you can try and turn down "ground clutter density" and "ground clutter radius" under video options. also make sure shadows are not turned on

If you don't have issues anywhere else, and are not getting game errors in Ashenvale, I'd assume it is just the zone.

If you are in doubt, you can run the Repair tool, which is found in your wow folder. I would not check the options to reset your keybinds, macros etc. It can still fix any game errors.
