Default Recommend a good i7 mobo?

I was leaning towards the asus p6t because this is pretty much what everyone else recommends. My stubborn issue is that it only supports crossfirex......what if I want to switch back to nvidia sometime and use sli!?

lol :P

I'm using the Asus P6T and am happy with it so far.

Mine supports both SLI and Crossfire; I have the original (version 1) of the motherboard.

Wow is my game I wouldn't SLI/Crossfire regardless, as that is consistently a performance hit; if you need more monitors then a single card, stick a second card in, but don't SLI/Crossfire... that assumes of course you are only playing wow.

Question, does Tigerdirect omit certain details from lesser priced boards so you will be tempted to buy the more expensive ones?

I ask because these two boards both APPEAR to be able to support triple channel memory, but only one actually states that it does.
