I don't know if anyone else is having this "problem".. but I can't use any of the macro keys if my character is moving.. is the same for G11s? I'm using Left Control + Left Shift + F1 for example for one macro key.. maybe is because the Control or Shift keys? Thanks!

I have a G15, which functions the same as the G11. You want to make sure, the keybinds it is sending aren't being used for anything else. Modifier keys are fine, as long as nothing else is using them at the same time. That's basically it.

well.. I know the problem.. I can't press the extra keys and the normal keys at the same time... that sucks!! now if I press "W" I can use the keypad to cast something while moving for example.. but not with the extra ones.. also I can press the key combination that I set up into the extra macro key and "W" at the same time.. I guess I'm screwed! Last edited by CAPO; 12-21-2009 at 11:52 PM.

"W" by default is move forward. You could press "Num Lock", which is auto run, and then use a G-Key which is bound to Shift + A, for example. Or alternatively, hold both mouse buttons, which is also run forward.

well.. I used the W just an example.. but I guess I will need to get use both mouse buttons to move the character when I want to use the extra keys, and the WSAD when I want to use the keypad.. And now that I'm thinking, this will suck big time!!! on the tarantula I have 5 extra keys on each side of the keyboard.. the G11 or 15 will be perfect when using the mouse to move, so I don't have to move my left hand over to the right side of the keyboard.. wow.. I'm going need to think the most efficient way of using this keyboard.. Last edited by CAPO; 12-22-2009 at 01:29 AM.

I noticed you mentioned you cannot use the G11 keys while holding down other keys. This isn't an issue with the G11 keyboard, this is an issue with how you are using it. The G11 Keyboard, like any other keyboard that does key mapping, is subject to how keyboards actually function. You can't really expect to press CTRL ALT SHIFT F11 and W at the same time and not expect it to turn into CTRL ALT SHIFT F11 W which is a messed up key sequence. So really, you just cannot hold down programmable keys because it just doesn't work like that
