Default Pwnboxer on laptop won't recognise second monitor

Hi guys,

I have a bit of a problem with which I need your help. I'm using pwnboxer on my laptop and I've plugged in a second monitor, but somehow pwnboxer doen't see it. There's no problem when using two monitors on my computer, but on the laptop pwnboxer only recognises one monitor.

Do you have any ideas as to why this is?

Thanks in advance,

Hmm, this is strange because I have the same setup and Pwnboxer recognizes both monitors. Did you try a system restart?

Hey Nghtmr9999,

Yes I did, several times actually, just to be safe.

Is there a way to tell PwnBoxer that there are more monitors connected?
The monitor was plugged in at the time when I installed PwnBoxer and no other programs have any problems with the second monitor.

Does it deny the monitor's existence or does it just not put any games on it? None of the default modes assume the existence of more than one monitor so pwnboxer could be working & just leaving that monitor unused. To actually have one of the games run on the second monitor you need to explicitly force it there by right clicking on the screen number and selecting 'move to monitor 2'. That will also force you to create a new mode.

I think it denies existence. I can neither click it nor select "move to monitor 2". Any thoughts?

You *have* extended your desktop to the second monitor right?

I run a dual monitor config and have never had an issue with pwnboxer finding the monitor, but I've never tried to do so on a laptop :/

I just tested it out on my alienware laptop, and my HP touchsmart laptop, and it works fine. The key is that you enable both monitors on the laptop BEFORE starting Pwnboxer.
