| Senior Member | So I was scamming around in the local BestBuy not to long ago and I came across the gaming section which of course I stopped and browsed through for about an hour.... Looked at some pretty cool gear and some not so cool (AKA the StealSeries WoW mouse......), but one thing in particular caught my eye, the Belkin N52te. I knew of some people back in the day that used them and they swore by them, and I saw some videos about them before, but always shuck it off as, "Not for me." Well if you have ever been to a BestBuy, you know that they have most gear out for testing, so I got a chance to actually take a good look at it first, even though the display was beat up it still felt good, and I decided against my better judgment to pick one up and give it a try, so here goes the review on it! Item Name -- Belkin N52te ![]() Pro's -- - EASY to reach buttons, I can comfortably reach all buttons no problem, and I do have average size hands. - Fairly easy to use software, pretty straight forward, if you have ever used a Logitech gaming keyboard, or a Razer mouse, you can run this. - Able to reprogram any and all buttons to what ever you wish. - lots of extra buttons for the thumb, allows you to bind a lot more keys to you thumb then just being able to hit space... - Nice cool blue glow - 3 Different mods you can swap between (similar to what a G11 keyboard has). - Very comfortable natural feel in the left hand. - Very short learning curve to use. Con's -- - Have to use macros to bind keys such as Shift+1, can't just do it in the keybind settings like you can with the single keys. - D-pad movement doesn't not have enough play to it, very little movement to it. - The push button above the D-pad doesn't make any sort of noise or really any clicking when you push it, so is sometimes hard to hear if you have hit it, although every time I did push it, it worked. - No buttons on it to swap keymap modes..... you have to go into the software to swap the modes out. All in all, VERY SOLID... took me less then a half hour to get the feel of it, and noticed my gameplay speed got better after about an hour of use. I will defiantly continue to use it for all of the games I own from now on. Rating -- 4.5 out of 5

| I have the old version N50 at home, Going to use it soon for multi boxing and assign the buttons with hard to push key combinations like: Ctrl;Alt;Shift;F1 Ctrl;Alt;Shift;1 etc... Also gonne try and use the D-pad to use as movement key for my tank only, this way I use my healer as main window and I can move my Tank to any location I want without window switching I would change my tank movement keybinding to shift;w, shift;s, shift;d, shift;a And I assign these keybinds to the D-pad. This is just an Idea, not tested yet

| nice write up, was wondering about this particular hardware. although I went the cheap route and bought the Ideazon fang, the software is freaking terrbile(thats putting it nicely), but once you work out the kinks its ok. Nothing too special. |

| Member | I've been using these for WoW for a couple years and would not play without one. The greatest thing about them is the macros. You can combine in-game macros and create Mega-Macros that are awesome for boxing. I have the left-hand version, so with my left hand on the gamepad and my right hand on the mouse, I rarely need to even touch the keyboard, and it's very ergonomic for long hours of play. |

| Super Moderator | Hmm. Since I might start multiboxing shortly after building my computer, I might check one of these out. It looks like it would help out a lot.

| Senior Member | Best way to see if you like it is to head to some where that you can actually pick one up and get a feel if it will work with your hands, for me it was just about right, but for others it may not feel right. BestBuy is a good place to get a feel for items like this, and I'm still waiting for them to get a Razer Naga in for me to get a feel for. So the faster BestBuy, or even someone I know, gets the Razer Naga, you better believe I'll have a review up here pronto about it as well.

But it still a dark zone in my eyes. same as useing the G15 for the same thing, if u talk to any gm/support/Dev they say, 3rd party mario software is better not to use that why we have a ingame one, its just the fact it could be as simple as useing /fellow in a marcio but its made on 3rd party and blizzard can infact ban u for this, u could get on and been doing it years. i once had a name one a server for 2 years nothing ever said then one day 1 day ban i emailed support its just when they pick it up. all i can say is be very carefully and its better to use ingame. some stuff u can do on 3rdparty u can not in blizzard and they change what u can do all the time! its better just to bind keys, and use marcios ingame! the your safe. if not stay with it but do not go crying when u get banned might be a long time and nerver get pick up on it.
