| No I think it's different, they're only buttons imo. Anyway i doubt it'll be practical to have 12 bouttons under the thumb, half of that would be better i think

| Senior Member | if its like the mamba (wouldn't recommended it since mine stoped working after 2 weeks :S) you can make your own macros outside wow just like the g11/15. just like logitech mouse's, they are all mappable to any key/s |

| Just to clear up some possible confusion. There's a very specific function that is available on the G-Series keyboards from Logitech. Macro functions. The use of these are a bannable offense when using this keyboard with WoW. The function allows for time delayed actions and have been used to automate gameplay in the past. The keyboard itself is perfectly legit to use with World of Warcraft. In fact, several of the multiboxers here swear by it. The other functionality of the keyboard is to remap the G-keys (the extra programmable buttons on the G-series) to any other key or key combination. Blizzard will not ban you for using this keyboard while you're playing. The will, however, ban you for using the macro functions. G-KEY MACROS = BAD G-KEY REMAPPING = GOOD And, yes, Warden can detect the difference. If the Naga operates on the same principals, you can expect Blizzard to take the same measures and set up the same guidelines for its use with World of Warcraft. |

| how do you map the g keys to spells ect |

| Senior Member | You wouldnt want to do them for spells per say, since that is the ban-able offense. Instead what you do is use the assign keystroke to do it. Lets say on your Bar 5 in WoW you have the first button mapped to Ctrl+F10 key for your Blizzard Spell or any macro you have in game. What you could do is assign a G-Key the key stroke of Ctrl+F10 and when you hit that key it will perform the action you have assigned to that keystroke in game. |
