$1200 isn't bad. That's about what I paid for mine around winter break last year. I've kept it nice and clean, only installing games, voice programs ala Skype, Vent, and Mumble, and VLC media player. I've kept to that promise and my computer is still quite speedy

P.S, be sure to turn off screen saver and aero, and set a solid color background for moar performance.

Yea $1200 can buy one helluva good computer these days for sure.

I'm with Nghtmr, disable Aero asap. I personally like using the Windows Classic arrangement with a black background. Yea, I'm old fashioned like that.

i spent $5100 recently on a new computer and to be honnest its not much of an improvement from my $3k comp so yeh you dont need to spend much at all

A new PC that has:

I7 2600k
6GB RAM
Geforce 460GT (or more)
1x $80 HD for data
1x $80 HD for OS
1x $100 SSD HD for games

That above will with the other basics (cd rom, power, case, etc) will probably run you $900-$1000 for a PC and be fast enough to run 10x WoWs + stream high def video. These days, if you are smart, PCs are so cheap.

Im running 12gb ddr3 ram, quad core intel 3.2mhz, 460 gforce nvidia 1mb, playing on 23" hd, monitors, 5 toons, no problem. I paid 600 bucks for monther board, cpu, memory. case was cheap, HD,
