Hello, I'm going to start with multibox. I'm setting up a system and I just have one doubt. Should I be using Dual Core or Quad Core? Phenom II 555 X2 or Athlon 620 X4 They are both the same price. When playing other games the dual core beats de quadcore due to higher frequency but what about multiboxing(Since you can pretty much have 1 process running on each core) ?

For multiboxing a Quad Core is more preferable.

Yup I did a lot of testing between 2/4 core and I think this is the preferred route to go on quad core: 2x Cores for your main (Core 0 and Core 1) 1x Core for game 2 and 3 (Core 2) 1x Core for game 4 and 5 (Core 3) So basically your main is getting 4x the resources as a single alt game, and when I would game in WoW 5box style on my old quad core, this seemed to work the best for me.
