Default Monitor help

Hey guys,

Okay I've been having a problem with my system and I'm finally fed up with it.

My resolution cuts off about 1/2 inch on all sides of my monitor.

So lets say my monitor is a 20 inch square. What I actually see is the inner 19 inches, with 1/2 inch on all sides being outside what I can actually view.

My monitor OSD doesn't allow you to change, it just auto centers it. The Geforce gfx options don't have it either.

Somebody mentioned a 3rd party app that can fix this. Any idea?

Thanks!

This might be a silly answer, but did you try resizing using the buttons on the monitor?

i know you can change it in the geforce options, but you can also change it in the windows options. right-click on desktop and choose "screen resolution" and adjust it there.

if you did that then you can try installing drivers for the monitor or it just may be a limitation of the monitor. also make sure you are not in using the HD resolution for the monitor, you want to use the regular monitor resolution. for example I have the "hanns-g 28-inch HD 1080P monitor", in geforce options there are settings for either standard resolution settings for the monitor or HD settings for the monitor. I just choose standard resolution and I am able to choose 1920x1200.
