| Here are the minimum specs in order to multibox in World of Warcraft with 2 characters. I've based these specs off of a netbook class laptop I currently use, as well as a few slower PCs that I have done some testing on. Minimum Specs to 2 Box 1.6 ghz CPU any dual core or more -- Make sure all programs on your PC are closed -- Set your background on your PC to a solid color (eg black) with no background images Vista XP Pro -- For Vista you will need a much faster CPU, such as 2.4ghz+ 2.0 GB RAM -- Each WoW will use about 900MB at the max in Dalaran, leaving some leftover memory for your Windows OS GeForce 7200 -- This card is pretty cheap now, like $40. Set your graphic settings to LOW in WoW 12 GB Hard Drive -- Which is needed for the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. Mine is about 12GB at least. Pwnboxer Multiboxing Software (Pwnboxer.com - Multiboxing at its finest > Home) -- This is an absolute MUST because you need to tweak a bunch of your game settings. #1 - Set your CPU affinity if you have a dual core to put 1 WoW on each core. #2 - Set your graphics to LOW on both games #3 - Set your background FPS of both games to be 7. Set the foreground FPS of both games to be 20. 2x World of Warcraft accounts -- Obviously need 2 WoWs to dualbox ![]() DIGG THIS: http://digg.com/pc_games/Minimum_Spe...ld_of_Warcraft |

| Tips for optimizing slaves for minimum cpu/gfx - Addon: CT_Viewport - minimum rendering area around 250x250, even if minimum wow is just a bit under 800x600 - Addon: Leatrix_Gfx - set maximum fps to 10 on active, 5 on inactive - Keyclone config: maxfpsbk 5, maxfps 10 |
