Default minimum for 4 boxing

I am wanting to make sure my computer can do what is needed to 4 box before I try and then freak out about it being bad or not working.

things I found about my computer:
os name: microsoft windows vist home premium
system type: x86-based pc
processor: amd athlon(tm) 64 x2 dual core processor 5000+, 2613 mhz
smbios version: 2.4
ram: 1.5gb
virtual memory 3.25gb
graphics card: 8500 nividia gforce

I think this is all stuff that is important. sorry I am not much of a computer person

Imo you should try to reach 3-4 Gb of RAM because 1.5G on vista is really low even to have 1 wow running ^^

I agree ... with just some more RAM you should be able to 4-box.

when i had 2gb of ram, wow was very chuggy, with my pc constantly swapping out to virtual memory (hard disk).

i upgraded it to 4gb, and its all gravy : )

the cpu is fine. the gfx card is ok.

just upgrade your ram, and you are good to go.

you definitely need more ram. I 5 box wow and the accounts alone with nothing but bare bones system process running it eats up 1.3 gigs on full settings. If you go with 1.5 and anything and I do mean ANYTHING goes wacky you are going to lock up
