I would avoid SCSI like the plague. It's WAY too expensive. SATA is the way to go. Even SAS maybe.

I rather enjoy 2TB drives for $139. Gotta love supply and demand. There's an overage of SATA drives. Makes 'em cheap.

One of the biggest selling factors on me purchasing the Proliant DL360 was that it has two SATA hot-swap bays, with the ability to add a controller card for external SATA drives.
