| I have just upgraded my internet service from DSL getting around 4-5 Mbps to AT&AT U-Verse that is going to get around 18-20 Mbps beginning next Sat. My question relates to the stability of WoW with a faster internet service and connection of 18-20 compared to a 4-5 Mbps in regards to solo playing to boxing? Thanks |

| Super Moderator | It has to do more with your computer. Minimum Specs to dualbox in World of Warcraft If your specs are better than those, your comp is able to dualbox at least.

| How much bandwidth do you need for each account? Are there any recommendations from the seasoned multiboxers when it comes to Internet connection and such? |

| Super Moderator | From what I remember, WoW is not heavy on bandwidth. If you wanted to stream however, you would need a lot more. I had 10-15 Mbps when I played one character and was perfectly fine (my computer was the main reason for my slowdowns).

| Bandwith might not be the sole reason why lagging might occur for me, but I was tired of paying for slow DSL speed and now I will be paying $20 more for almost 3* the speed. I am in the process of upgrading my desktop to box more. I installed 6gb of RAMs this weekend, and come Halloween I will add a new processor that will deliver 3.0 ghz compared to the 2.2 now. And the final thing to add will be a new graphics card (prob 1gb on board of it). I also cleaned my WTF, cache and interface folders and removed some addons to help things out a bit. |

| You don't need a real fast connection to play wow, it can help though since you'll likely see lower ping. Blizz doesn't recommend it , but you can play on dial-up. I don't raid but I've done everything else one time or another on dial-up, even AV. |
