| I just read this review, and I'm amazed they missed the most important, most obvious, extremely messed up factor: WoW does not use your GPU correctly. For example, WoW will only use around 15% of my GTX 480. If the benchmark looked, even for a split second at GPU consumption, they would have noticed right away that something is very wrong. Ualaa what does your GPU report for % in use when you're playing? If you have an Nvidia card, download EVGA Precision (doesn't matter if your card is EVGA or not). |

| I would have suspected AMD to be a little behind Intel for Cataclysm... Not for even a 2-core i3 (at stock speed) to crush the highest end AMD 6-Core processor, whether AMD is stock or overclocked. Have not downloaded the tool, but would guess I'm not really pushing the card too hard. I've got a 1GB GTX275, but have completely disabled Shadows, have Weather/Water on low and Spell Effects on medium for whichever client I'm currently on (and lowest setting for the others). View distance is a third for the slaves and maxed for the current lead, but that's more processor then video dependent. |
