Wink i7

Hey guys i have a new system and I want to get into mutiboxing.
Here are my specs.
i7 920 2.6ghz not overclocked yet as i only have a stock cooler.
6gb crosair ddr3 ram.
4890 ati radieon graphic card.
Asus p6tse motherboard.
antec 600w power supply.
Antec three hundred case.
western digital 640gb 7200rpm.
Razer deathadder mouse.
Raze headphones and keyboard too.
Windows 7 64bit home premium.
Internet connection 8mb with 800kps upload the best we can get were i live with is Ireland.
Now with this system how man boxing can I do or what ever is it called.

Over 9000??? If you can affor the copy of wow, you can run them...

and i would like to point out the ati cards are fail compared to the 2xx series...

That system is pretty similar to mine and I can do 5-boxing with no problems and lots of system resources to spare.

I don't mind the ati cards at all tho i would go with nivida if i was buying again as of now it does the job.

With 6GB of ram, you'll be able to handle 5 clients of wow without issues.

If you want to run a lot of background applications, or desire more then 5 clients, you'll probably need to upgrade your ram. You could run 10 clients on 6GB of ram, but it will definitely slow your play down, by a significant margin. The general rule of thumb is: 1GB for the OS, plus 1GB per wow client.

The rest of your system is overkill, for what wow currently requires of a system.

You can do easily 5 WoWs with that, and depending on what you are doing in-game, potentially up to 10.

A general rule of thumb when asking what you can do with multiboxing and the i7: "The answer is always yes"
