I'd say no simply because it is an Apple laptop. Get one that runs an OS that is more open such as Windows (or linux).

This notebook is also a retired apple platform that will not run any modern software due to the cpu architecture not belonging to the more common x86 cpu family used by the vast majority of home computers.
