So I'm thinking that the MB.com site needs a new article on the requirements to multibox in Cataclysm. I'm thinking the article is a single page, shows the test requirements for pass, shows how it is tested, and then has 3 box-type areas that show their own area for the minimum requirements to 2, 3, and 5 character multiboxing.

Note the word minimum. So the requirements would be the minimum to do that. For example, min specs for 2 boxing would probably be intel e6500, 2G ram, Geforce 7800.

Also, the CPU should be linked to the cpubenchmark.net site, with the imagery highlighted.

So basically, lots of pictures, lots of text, lots of awesomeness.

Thoughts?

i don't own anything that old anymore so testing this for an article would be difficult for me

Hell I have some parts that I could probably build up again, at some point to run and older computer mix. I would have to get the part names, think its an old 400mhz PC. Though I may have to do some digging. Its the board and CPU, not sure if I have the ram anymore. Probably would lagg alot on 1 copy of wow mind you. Though my dualcore 2.7 system I have right now might be a bit above minimum specs needed to box but its 4 gig ram, I could dissable 2 sticks and run 2 wows and benchmark FPS and Latency though.

It really isn't completely about testing things you don't own, it is about testing things you do, and then theorizing to the best accuracy as you can what systems would work (and why).
