| First off thank you for any information. So I have a moderately ok system with the following stats. i7 870 @ 2.93GHz 8GB RAM 64bit win 7 GT 430 27” monitor(with main) and a 21" monitor (with 4 slaves) (I dont know if any other information is real pertinant, not overly knowledgable) I multibox WoW using ISBoxer. I have a subscription to both ISBoxer and PWNBoxer. I like the way the game runs in PWN but I like the way in ISB the toons follow without me hiting any buttons, the leader changes when I swap screens, the way the slaves target what the leader targets and most of all the ability to swap my slaves from my 2nd monitor to my main monitor and they become the new leader. The problem is that I get VERY low frame rates and lots of Lag with ISBoxer if I am anywhere but in an instance and even in some instances I have lag issues. I have decided to put more money into my system and so this week I will be putting in some overtime and will have roughly $650 to spend. What would be the best thing for me to purchase? | That is a pretty badass system! I've never seen ISB but I've heard of a big difference from people like you who use both PB and ISB. Pwnboxer was *specifically* developed for slower systems to be able to multibox more WoWs with better performance. I've even stress tested PB on my system with some specialized builds and was able to get 77 WOTLK WoWs to run at one time. My system is fast, but still, 77 WoWs is nuts. With your system on PB you could probably run 10x WoWs. PS: You can do the same swap leader target thing in PB. You just have to set up the in-game WoW macros. Pwnboxer doesn't build the macros for you automatically due to legal issues with Blizzard not allowing paid programs to do addon/mod type of things. I'd rather keep Pwnboxer 100% legit than adding in features that are shady/gray. That just means you'd have to create the macros yourself No biggie really. |
