Question gts 250?

ok so, i was planning on building a rig with a gtx 480, but as i have ran across a few minor complications, that i wont mention >.<, im forced to knock down my budget a little bit. would a gts 250 (1gb) be enough to run 5x accounts, on mid - high detail (no shadowing of course), with little to no lag (even in main cities)? just until im able to get my 480, then ill transfer the 250 into my current comp (so out dated that im runnin a 6150LE )

Rest of the comp specs:
MOBO: asus p6x58d premium
PSU: kingwin mach 1, 1000w (was going to go corsair, but as i said had to cut back)
CPU: i7 930 (was only $9 more than the 920 )
SSD: intel x25-m 80gb, for OS and WoW
HDD: 500gb seagate
RAM: G skill, 4gb ddr3
OS: W7 Home Premium 64bit

and just for some awesome air flow: Case: in win Maelstrom full tower

so tell me what'cha think,

Edit: i forgot to ask if the gts 250 supported duel displays, off one card, cause i know (or so i've read from many reviews and posts( the 480 takes two cards for multi monitor displays

Definitely this would work for 5x. My graphics setup only uses around 20-25% processing on the GPU to run 5x WoWs.

Thanks for the quick reply, but would the one card support a multi monitor setup, or would i need a second?

That will depend entirely on which GTS 250 you go with. Some have HDMI/VGA/DMI output, some have dual DMI, etc.

Here's a list of them from NewEgg to get you started: Newegg.com - GTS 250

ideo cards constantly evolve with new features higher performance and new chips. NVIDIA and ATI have been in a constant struggle to gain the gamers' dollar. Generally there are inflection points where there is a clear break from what has come before. DirectX 7 with HW T+L, DirectX 8 with Programmable Pixel and Vertex Shaders, DirectX 9 with PS 3.0 and VS 3.0, DirectX 10.0 with Pixel and Vertex Shader 4.0, offering longer programs and DirectX 10.1 which brought some visual improvements to DirectX.

I have the EVGA gts250 1gig and was able to push 5 on it no problem. I ran my main on Highest and the 4 alts on mid without any problem.

I'm using a GTX 275, which is a bit stronger then the GTS250, but likely not as strong as the other card. I have no issues with my current card; it is definitely strong enough for anything warcraft wants to throw my way.
