Its not exact... I have 8 gigs of ram and a different HD configuration, but the rest is spot on.

wow that case is expensive, almost as much as the processor hehe. But it comes with a (antec?) power suppply so i guess its a ok price.

I heard the caviar blue's are pretty good in a raid 0 setting, how is that working out for you? I have 2x 1TB in a raid 0 + 1 setting, they work well, after I did the tweak so they do not time out when doing the error recovery so they do not drop out of the raid.

I actually don't have those HDs, they are just ones i recommend =)
All my experiences with Western Digital drives are good.

Yea the case is kinda spendy but i LUVZ it.

EDIT: The case comes with an Antec 750 watt power supply in it already, so the price isn't too bad i suppose. But it still looks like pwn so its worth it imo.

Raid 0 is fast, but I'd say get another drive and go Raid 5. Better safe than sorry.

Why SLI? Wow isn't graphically intensive - it's more processor intensive than graphics intensive. Get 2/3 monitors and spread that baby out!

I have a BFG 285 OC and an older 8800GT, I have 2 monitors on the 285, and get fair-good framerates in Dalaran, and cap out (60+FPS) everywhere else.

SLI is great for Crisis, but insane overkill for Wow. Use those cards for real estate!!

So you looking to 10box on a single PC Carbs? That system should work just fine!

I actually don't really like RAIDing a gaming system for the sake of security. I rather just do this: 1x Drive for OS, 2x Drive in RAID0 for gaming (speed), 1x USB HD for backup/protection

It is cheaper, faster, and umm, pancake?

I have 3x500g 7200RPM for the OS, and run all my games off an SSD, which is exponentially faster than any spindled drive.

I used to run 2x500g raid 0 for the OS, but decided I'd take the small performance hit in exchange for the security. Additionally I run backups to a local server daily (incrementals) with a full backup on saturday mornings at 4am.

I haven't lost any data in 15 years.

I run SLI because i play games besides WoW, and i like to max dem graphics! plus its on a 1920x1080 monitor so its gonna be huge!

And I actually run 3 HD - 1 for my OS and 2 in RAID 0 with all my other stuffs on it. Tho i have another 500g i could put into it and setup a RAID 5 if wanted.
