Default Dual Monitors Increase FPS?

Ok since getting the second monitor, I decided that since tim wasn't streaming, I'd setup the other wow's on the other monitor, so that I can have my main view full screen, and the other 4 setup in quadrants of four on the other monitor. Typical setup I assume. However, I have noticed that my FPS seemed to be somewhat better than last night so this may have something to do with not running a stream on JTV but I am curious to know if having the wow's split among the monitors if this will increase FPS as well.

I would assume rendering additional area would reduce your FPS somewhat.

Currently you're using (X) x (Y), on your main monitor.

With a wow taking up your full monitor, you still have (X) x (Y) that needs to be rendered.
However, you will also need (X) x (Y) to be rendered on the second monitor, which is additional resources used.
More resources used will likely lower performance, compared to fewer resources used; not sure it will be a major impact on performance, as wow is much more dependent on processor than anything else, and you're already running the five clients.

Default Re: Dual Monitors Increase FPS?

yeah I have low FPS as it is in a high populated area like org as it is, its more likely cause of my processor needing to draw that many more dynamic content, such as players, movement, etc... so I know I need an upgrade from my Dual 2.6ghz on a out of date board lol
