| I have stumbled across a strange issue which I can explain nor solve: I have been running Windows Vista home (32bit) for a while and I just upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) ... and now my WoW's are loosing fps if I run them on my secondary screen? I move my wow-window to my primary screen and the FPS goes up ... I move my wow-window back to my secondary screen and my FPS drops (even lower to what I previously had on my Vista setup). Any idea's ... anyone?? Any suggestions are welcome. |

| Super Moderator | Hmm. Is the refresh rate on your second monitor lower than your primary one? The issue also might have to do with resolution of your secondary monitor.

| i am not sure, nor do I know the technical reason, but it has to do with the secondary monitor not being the "focus". So if you are playing on main monitor and have slaves on secondary monitor, the slaves on the second monitor are limited to 30FPS, at least for me it does. I am running windows 7 x64 ultimate and still have this problem. Not sure if there is a fix or not out there for the problem. |

| The primary monitor gets priority access to the GPU. Naturally, the secondary monitor will get lower throughput if there arent enough resources to go around.

| LL is 100% correct here. I went through extensive testing on this back when I was originally doing my broadcast and playing 10x WoWs at once. |
