| So a week later, any leekage problems yet? Did you put a oven pan under your case to catch leekage or anything similar? EDIT: Why distilled water instead of using a non-conductive fluid which protects your PC in the event of a leak, and conducts more heat away than water does? |

| Week later no leaks no problems 100% Satisfied. This setup cools the cards so well that I even dropped the fans down to minimum speeds, and it still wont break 55C playing BC2 or other games. With the fans that low its almost possible to just passive cool it and turn the fans off completely. I may have to try it out cause if I could cool them passively the only thing I would hear in my room is my ceiling fan lol. As far as distilled water, don't be fooled with the non-conductive fluid and them conducting more heat thing. Distilled water is also very non-conductive as its pure H2O, and as you have seen in my setup cools effectively. On top of that you wont be spending $20+ on fluids when ever your reservoir gets low. Distilled water is cheap and just as effective, just add in some UV Dye and your set. + Plus the other fluids will stain your equipment if you do happen to have a leak. But yea, love the water cooling. Im glad I did it as my computer was a giant space heater when those cards were air cooled. I picked up StarCraft2 the other day and lovin it. The way they got the leagues setup and rankings is much nicer than before. | |
