| If you were to delete your Cache folder, that would likely speed up warcraft. Also, I'm not sure where your graphic settings are for warcraft. Shadows, is pretty much the only thing that challenges the video cards within warcraft. Just about every other graphical option, pushes the cpu more then the video card. A dual core at 3.2ghz shouldn't need ~80% of its power for a single account. For the most part, wow doesn't seem to like crossfire/SLI configurations, and to a lesser extent the X2 cards (GTX 295, is basically two 285's on one board.... or 4870 X2, is two 4870's on one board). Extra video cards allow for more monitors, but almost invariably wow runs smoother with SLI/Crossfire disabled. |

| I agree with Ualaa, something seems amiss that your system is using up so much CPU for 1x WoW. Dalaran and WG are huge soaks of CPU, but other than that, things should be decently smooth. Deleting the WoW cache folder contents is something I recommend doing every month actually, it helps a lot. Also, make sure your antivirus isn't doing something funky, too. |
