| Senior Member | I know this is an old post, but if you are a college student you can get windows 7 for $30. As long as you have a .edu address you should be able to. Most college book stores sell them, so even if you just walk into a college bookstore... you might be able to get your hands on a copy with out being a student, not suggesting that way, but it is possible.

| Senior Member | Windows 7 for students is $64.95 now because they up'd it to the Pro edition. This is actually the one I bought for my wife's computer because I work for a Uni with a .edu email address. =)
