Flash is not SSD, flash is flash, and is far slower than normal HDs

SSD over USB = sux due to the gigantic USB latency and overhead

One thing though: couldnt find an article on internal ssd VS usb ssd VS running WoW on a flash drive etc
how much faster would one be over another?
EDIT: im seeing people talking about getting more than 4gb ram for a computer..and running WoW
I thought WoW couldnt access ram past 4gb? due to win32 restrictions?! or are they VMing?
I believe that SATA would transfer data quicker than USB. I tried looking up some articles about the transfer rates and SATA is rated something like 3gb/s where as USB 2.0 is 480mb/s.

As for ram 4gb is the max you can do on a 32bit system. You can do over 4gb on a 64bit operating system.

I had 6gb installed at one point, Windows Vista would show I had 6gb but would only use 4gb. So if your running a 32bit version of Windows 4gb would be the max you could do.

Doesn't the BIOS have to be set-up to take advantage of all RAM. In other words, I don't believe factory settings are set up immediately.

Please confirm.

You should just get a win 7 laptop for around $700-800 mark if you must have a laptop (assuming you do cause of school). The graphics cards in those are fine for running wow. On laptop you would be really constrained with monitor size with 5 accounts imho. The rez does not scale well.

This one would be perfect for running more accounts like you want, accept personally i would not run a lot cause it would look terrible at screen size so you can hook up a external monitor that is bigger if you choose.
