9800GT is still a pretty solid video card for the price but unfortunately the ati 5670 would make the 9800GT pee in it's diapers when faced with a benchmark challenge. Sadly since BFG has stopped manufacturing video cards the options for lower end cards have become somewhat limited for nvidia offerings. your current 4650 ati is equivalent to an 8600 or 8800 nvidia so the 9800 GT would be a decent upgrade. If your not planning to use crossfire the 5670 would be an amazing upgrade for the same price

There is a computer store -- Micro Center that has the Q9550 in Houston, where i live and am planning on getting it.

How much cpu use does you Q9650 turn out? My e8400 with all 5 wows uses 75-90%. I have 8gb ram DDR2 and my ati. I figure right now, my cpu needs replaced with a quad that can perform 5 wows. Later, I might consider a new or better graphic card, but right now, I feel confident that that will def see some major improvements. Later when more money is had, I can maybe upgrade the motherboard and cpu to one where it supports DDR3.

Also, do I have to rebind my pwnboxer when i upgrade my cpu?

Best i can recall my system running 5x wow clients uses around 60-80%% cpu in ironforge. It's been awile since i checked so I could be off a bit on the estimate. I'm running 8 gigs of DDR3 Corsair Dominator memory CM3X2G1600C9DHX on an asus P5Q3 motherboard which does help a bit. One single BFG 275 GTX handles all the graphics fairly well.

Just curious, why did BFG stop making video cards? I've bought a few from them in the past and always had good results.

Yes! Very few drops in fps and only at times in Org, but other than that, much much better! Now I can multibox for long periods of time always keeping a fps average around 25-55 (usually between 40-55) 25 in Org.

also if you are experienced with installing stuff in your computer, you can make sure you have a good air-flow in the computer case and there are fans intaking the air in the front of the case and blowing out of back or however your fan setup is

overheating parts can cause massive fps loss and more prone to failing. I clean out dust particles and what not once a month to ensure that my parts are not getting too hot.

also making sure some of the more graphical settings are turned down that you do not need, like shadows for example, will increase fps depending on your location in Wow. Also make sure your addons are updated and working properly so that those addons do not lower fps or crash wow.

grats on the new processor!! I will be getting that one soon, do not have the money to go full i7 system. plus they will be a couple of intel processor refreshes in quarter 3 on this year..
