Default 5 accounts possible on this laptop?

Hi, planning on returning to wow and was thinking about multiboxing some shamans.

I'm eagerly awaiting arrival of my new laptop, it has these specs;
G860
Screen - 15.6' 1920x1080 Full HD+ X-Glass
Processor - Intel® Core i7 920QM 2.0GHz Quad Core Processor
Video Card – NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 280M 1GB GDDR3
Memory 1 - 4GB DDR3-PC3 1333Mhz CAS9 2x 2GB DIMM
Hard Drive – 500GB 7,200rpm SATA-II with 16MB Cache
Operating system 1 - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Optical Device 1 – Blu Ray Writer / 8x DVD±R/W

I was thinking about running 3 accounts but after browsing the forums it looks like more is possible. Might try 5.

Can my system handle 5 easily?

Thanks

not to savvy on laptops, but I think the biggest hump to get over boxing on this is the hard drive and maybe the memory. load times would be slow and random seek times would be slow as well on that hard drive. if you are able to slap in a SSD and upgrade the memory to 8GB, you should be set. although I think 4 gigs of memory might run the wow's, just you would not have enough headroom for stuff like music player, or any other background applications running while Wow(s) is running. Also you would have to turn the graphics all the way down on each slave.

But since you are getting the laptop either way, best bet would be to make some trial accounts (if you do not have the accounts yet) and see what the performance is like.

That is a beast of a laptop. The only bottleneck that might exist there is the RAM. However, like Kylol said, its certainly doable with just 4GB. Im guessing youre going to be able to pop some more RAM in there if you wanted, but I dount it would be necessary. 5boxing will be easy with that setup.

Cool, can't wait to try it

Should get the lappy at the end of next week hopefully.

I plan to make a 5 shaman arena team, 4 ele and 1 resto. Think it will be possible to have the resto as the main and ele as the slaves? I was thinking I could target with the resto and use the keyboard to issue the commands to the slaves yet have those keys unbound for the resto, or bound to macros that only affect the slaves. Would heal with some mouseover setup.

Anyway, only 1 way to find out what works, should be fun.

I would consider more ram, 6-8gb would be ideal.
And a 64-bit operating system if you don't already have one.
A cheap SSD for a gaming folder is a strong option for a huge performance boost, but this is not at all necessary to play.

Log into account management.
Go to refer a friend.
Refer 4 friends to your own email.
Use the trial accounts (which cannot exceed 10th level, until upgraded with a real CD Key) to test how your laptop runs with 5 clients.
Dalaran and Wintergrasp will run a bit worse then an outdoor zone.
But you'll get an idea for how playable it will be.
