| Senior Member | Neb, first what version u have for Fraps. and second how decent is ur pc? For recording u want to make sure ur FPS is about 30-60 nothing higher or lower and well the rest depends on how ur fraps is ... or well i will have to look at mine again and such but mainly u would have to work on the vid after recorded so that way u can edit all the "misc" stuff out or u can throw it up. Now you can throw it up on youtube or even u might be able to throw it up on justin.tv.. I will post a "how to" after i look back into it as right now i am using the software that is mainly for justin.tv to save my vids

| Senior Member | Ok with fraps u can only record one game as far as i can tell so ur main would have to be the main thing and when and after recorded u would hit up the folder where it saves the files then make sure there small enough to hit up on youtube .... *sry falling asleep*

| I would say its close to imposible to directly upload frapsed material on youtube. I fraps at 25fps 1280x1024 (with sound), and a 5 min bossfight generates ~4Gb of avi-data. You need a program to compress the data somehow. Personally I use Sony Vegas and create .wmv files. You can easely compress the 4Gb avi-file to a ~300Mb Wmv-file that still has a very good quality (still 1280x1024 @25 fps inc sound). Probably you can find some chaper software as well that you do the trick (besid Sony Vegas that is). /Twenty Totems |

| You can use Windows Movie Maker to put it all together, and add a title and whatnot. Sony Vegas is a lot better, but WMM gets you by =D |

| Wheres the best place to get music, or sound for videos? I tried making a video but youtube wouldn't let the sound play, since it was copyrighted. I tried using the free versions of fraps and Hyper Cam. I liked hyper cam better. /shrug Then I used windows movie maker. |
