Quick n dirty way to prepend a video intro to a video?

I was wondering... does anybody know a quick and dirty way to pre/post add an intro/closing to a video without having to render the whole thing?

So let's say I have a 4 hour video and I want to add 10 seconds in front, and 10 seconds to the end. Any way to do that without having to render the whole thing (which takes my i7 980 Extreme ~4 minutes per 1 minute of video)?
