| Re: Found this I just ran 72 WoWs, all Cataclysms, on a single PC using an extremely experimental Pwnboxer which does some crazy stuff to manage PC resources to enable mass WoWs. Pretty damn slick. I think I'll make a video of it when I'm not so tired tomorrow morning. EDIT: I found a weird bug in MS Directx 9, it is unable to allocate a resource space when I go > 72 WoWs. I think this is an actual limitation of DirectX itself. Funny  EDIT #2: I forgot to up the fan speed of my 2x GTX 480s. I can actually smell plasticy smells. Ruh roh lol. |

| Re: Found this Any plans for DirectX 10 or 11 support, in the next version? DX10 is pretty much pointless, except for LotRO players because that company supports DX10 but not DX11. Every other MMO on the market that supports beyond DX9, also supports DX11. WoW runs a little better on DX11, than it did on DX9; most users report a slight performance gain. |
