| Senior Member | YouTube - Feral Druid Multiboxing This is just a short throw together of day 2 of what I call The Cat-Box. The setup is 2 feral druids. Yes, that is right, FERAL. A little magic with the keybindings and I am able to use the interact with target bind to make sure both druids are with in melee range on a target standing still, but even a moving target is no problem for me. Current level with the druids is 39, should be level 60 within the week. Drop a comment on the video and rate it.

| 5x Ferals would be amazing AV tower guards IMO, not to mention an amazing ninja cap force. I'd love to see some more videos from both ya as you progress! |

| Senior Member | yea, it is a lot of fun, if you do it right you end up being able to shred constantly over and over again, which makes for very fast leveling. Like I said above, that is only day 2. The more I play with the melee, the easier it becomes. Was even thinking about trying to do double enhance or double pally.

| Ferals have: - Stealth, and talents to improve stealth. - Ravage/Shred, which is akin to Ambush/Backstab. - Pounce is as Cheap Shot. - Feral Charge in bear form is as a Warrior's Charge, in Cat Form it is as a Rogue's Shadowstep but also dazes the target. - With CTM and IWT spam, they circle opponents. - Mangle from any direction. - Their burst is pretty insane, at 68th I dropped an 5500 GS Demo Warlock in all of 2 seconds. - Also messing around with Focus targeting as a priority over FTL, so I can send Ferals at multiple targets at once, if need be (via IWT). - Faerie Fire as a debuff. - They heal on critical hits, and crit very frequently. - They can Dash, which is like Sprint. - They can become bears for massive physical mitigation. - Survival Instincts is like Last Stand. - Berserk is a fear break, and makes them immune to fear for 15 seconds (20 glyphed). - They can battle rez, and glyphed the target comes back at full health... this will be fun in BG's on round-robin. - With talents, there's a 20% chance per combo point, that any finishing move will make their next Nature spell an instant cast... this includes - heals and battlerez. I'm messing around with /stopcasting for an effect similar to 'Art of War' for Ret Pallies. - They're immune to polymorph effects, and switching forms breaks any movement impairment effect... Hopefully, they'll be good flag runners. |

| Senior Member | I did have to mess around with autohotkey to get everything flowing right. And I am breaking the ToS with some of the items i do with AHK... (i set 1-= and shift 1-= to press the number + g (g being my IwT button)) I couldn't get the mouse scroll wheel to work with pwnboxer, so i had to script it with AHK so that i could quick shift forms. scroll up is travel scroll down cat Shift scroll up bear Shift scroll down is one bear one cat (for tanking instances + 1 dps) You could get the same affects as what I have while staying within the ToS by just using a seperate bind for the IwT, but I found it easiest to just bind my dps spells together with it so I don't have to rapidly click 2 buttons at once. currently working on a script to disable CtM or IwT so I can stop and cast with out having my character run up to my current mob. If I get enough ambition I'll upload my macros and keybinds aswell.

| Take a look at Macaroon or Snowfall. These addons, take advantage of Blizzards Keyboard API. Specifically you can bind actions to both the key down and key up. Blizzard, as of early WotLK, considers these to be two different actions. So you can put IWT on press, and whatever you want on release, and stay inside of the ToS. Or alternatively, configure a two step hotkey. Where you spam it quickly (twice as fast as normal). And have it send IWT on press 1, and your Feral move on press 2. I'm not sure how configurable AHK is. With IS Boxer, my mapped key is: a) Slave windows assist Main window, via do mapped key (FTL Assist Me). b) Run mapped key - IWT keybind to toon's in my Melee Group. c) Send 1 to all windows. I've messed around with this as both a up/down mapped key, and as two steps with quick spam. The part you will be interested in, is the run the Melee IWT mapped key. I have a toggle, a two step mapped key. On press 1, it enables the Melee IWT mapped key. On press 2, it disables the Melee IWT mapped key. When the key is enabled, spamming my normal dps sends both the DPS key and the IWT Keybind to my melee toons. When the key is disabled, it only sends the DPS key, as the IWT Keybind (mapped key) is disabled. For my melee teams, I leave CTM on at all times. For my caster teams, I have my switch key enable CTM for "Windows: All without Current", and it disables CTM for "Windows: Current Window Only". I have the Melee IWT mapped key, target only Melee toons, in case I decide on a mixed team with both melee and ranged dps in the future. And naturally another IWT mapped key (sends same keybinds to wow, but targets all toons instead of melee only), this is on a keybind for quest npc interaction etc. |

| Senior Member | AHK will do just about anything you want, but... you need to know how to use it first. I use it for all sorts of task, since I currently work on networks. I use it to create users very rapidly, and other mundane tasks. So even though its not a prime multiboxing tool, its a good tool for almost any computer. As far as the button down button up topic, I would have to see a blue post before I go for that one.

| Fair enough, I'll find the Keyboard API and link it here in a bit. Even if you don't go with up/down states, you'll be better off with a two step hotkey/macro. Something where you send IWT on either the even or odd presses. And send your DPS key on the other presses. That way, you're not sending two outputs on a single key action. *Edit* Addons can currently: button:RegisterForClicks("AnyUp") button:RegisterForClicks("AnyDown") button:RegisterForClicks("AnyUp", "AnyDown") Addons which currently use this: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...-Macaroon.html http://www.wowinterface.com/download...lKeyPress.html http://www.wowwiki.com/API_Frame_EnableKeyboard Last edited by Ualaa; 03-18-2010 at 03:53 AM. |
