| Just a heads up... On Saturday the 12th of November there will be an attempt to multibox 40 level 85s in Isle of Conquest to solo win the game against the opposition. Only one player will be in the game multiboxing all 40 positions on one side. Not believing this has ever been done or attempted before for Isle of Conquest, it will be video captured and posted on youtube with beginning characters listed in the battle as well as the opposition. When the battle is over, that will be placed into the final video and posted along with the final characters statistics and game win. The entire battle probably won't be in the final video post but this time I plan to get the beginning and the end in the video posted. Does anyone have any ideas for strategy? I was thinking rush Workshop, after caps, move to where the Glaives are and wipe them, then head to my base and kill the ones inside the base, then go back outside and take out the vehicles that are knocking on the door because they would have got the workshop by this time. Then go back inside and wait until they drop a wall and go immediately to my boss to defend. This has worked in the past with about 24 characters multiboxed with other players helping. It's a long game but gets a lot of honorable kills. Thanks, Prepared of Aegwynn, the massive multiboxer of the World of Warcraft |

| The two paths to victory (aside from reinforcements) seems to be Workshop for the Demolishers which have a lot of health and deal pretty good damage... or the Glaives, which if you can protect them, will win the game faster -- but they die very easily... Workshop then Docks is a decent plan. If you were to guard your General, from inside the building where they couldn't assault your toons with vehicles... would there be any negatives, as in are there automatic victory without killing the opposite faction boss? If you can just guard your general and make them come to you... there's not much they can do to force the issue aside from attrition winning it for one side or the other.

That said, normally people arent that smart, and u will probably wipe them faster then they can possible get resources from the harbor and quarry. Your plan sounds pretty solid :P | |

| I suppose the question is... Do you lose resources, when neither of these events occurs?: a) Your general is alive; and b) They're not killing players on your team

| I cant find a decent definition of how it happens but: Reinforcements are lost in a number of ways, including losing control points and players being killed. If a team's reinforcements are reduced to 0, they are defeated. |

| In that case, then turtling is a losing strategy... To win, you need to control more areas then the opposition... Workshop and Glaives seem to be the points which can force open the opposing generals position. Killing their general, is of course a win too. Splitting your team isn't going to be an easy approach. I hate when my toons are split, and cannot imagine having your focus in several places at once as being a fun way to play. On the plus side, you'd still have a full complement in a given location, as opposed to not enough DPS to kill things or no healing due to rezzing in a different location. I believe there are five control points. And that the Docks and Workshop are the key. Bounce between those two, so they cannot get to your general, and hopefully win on attrition... But they'd have three control points to your two, which might bleed your resources faster than you can deplete theirs. Will be interesting, anyway.

| Senior Member | What i would do first go to workshop, leave 5 ppl there. than go back and wipe them glaves, jump the vehicles and get the gate down. (remember, you can jump from ship to their courtyard) and deliver heavy bombs for the gate to get it down quicker, but this would be hard task) would be nice to leave 5 on D. to slow them down a bit damn my head hurts when i think about 40box good luck

| With Alterac Valley, I was able to get 40 into the same battle several times. But with Isle of Conquest weekend, I never got all 40 into the same battle. The most I got was 35. We won some and lost some. Almost all of them I had to go our boss. When it was bad timing where the Alliance got the gate down and I didn't see they had the glaives there, they won. But when I was with our boss, the Alliance lost. Alliance continued to use the exploit where the vehicles targeted the boss room floor but still that didn't help them too much because they all tried to rush in and died when all 35 of my characters where there :-) |
