| Senior Member | Cataclysm Preparation List: 80-85 1. Best Food/Water pref with stats (approx 60 of ea. as needed per class) 2. Potions/Flasks/Bandages 3. Respec for leveling, reglyph as needed! 4. REPAIR! Lets not find out while out in the field that you forgot your armor was broken from raiding the previous time you were on! 5. Enchants/Gems/Profession based bonuses - try to have the best available. 6. Strategy - Have a plan, be it PVP, LFD, or flat out Questing, you will want to know the best way to get your leveling done efficiently. 7. Clear bags of all unnecessary items, make sure you have the correct bags (items bags vs profession bags or vice versa) 8. Guild - With the whole guild experience coming into effect, coordinate who is doing what profession, find out what others are doing in your guild so that you can work together as a team. 9. Flight Master's License - LVL 60+ will cost 250g, do yourself a favor and park your ass next to this guy, so when you log in, you can learn it and be on your way. 10. Alt banker, if you do not have one, make one, set him up in a city and just send him your items, Anything that isn't dark grey or not usable by yourself should be sent when you go to repair. GOBLIN/WORGEN PREP! 1. Have at least 5 names picked, or test before hand, no point being stuck at the character screen scratching your head. 2. Heirloom Gear ready to be sent over. (if you have any) 3. Gold ready to be sent over. (I always spot my alts 1000g, makes it easier than logging back and forth. 4. Decide Professions, or no professions. I pick up skinning initially as it helps if you do not have gold to send to your alt. 5. Food, Water, Scrolls, Potions, Bandages - Better to have than have not! ![]() 6. Strategy, have a plan, read up on the zones you intend to play in if you must. Ask friends if they plan to make a goblin/worgen and lvl together. 7. Bags, Bags, Bags! Make sure you have the biggest bags you can afford! 8. Alt banker, if you do not have one, make one, set him up in a city and just send him your items, Anything that isn't dark grey or not usable by yourself should be sent when you go to repair. REAL LIFE! 1. Food/Drinks stocked, remember water is your friend! 2. Take a break every now and again to get up and walk around, use the restroom, have a smoke, or watch the news. 3. Plan your meals if your an adult and try to find out when you are having your meals if you are a child. Knowing this ahead of time will allow you to travel to an inn 10mins before hand so that you can repair, send loot to a banker, and clean up before you have to eat. 4. Music - If you are like myself you will have a list already set up to rock to as you level. 5. Vent - If you are not into music while leveling, get into your guild vent and chat it up, who knows, it may allow for tips and questions to pass back n forth as you all go through the new material! 6. HAVE FUN! No point in playing if its makin ya mad brah! :P Sorry I had to, but on a serious note, if you are getting frustrated with a quest, pvp, dungeon noob, just take a deep breath and find something else to do in game. If its not fun, its not worth doing amirite? Hope you found this helpful! Enjoy your Cataclysm, I will be stuck at work because my boss is a ****. |

| Thanks Weson this is actually a great list to get prepared. Unfortunately I might not be able to stream on day 1, one of my other projects (WoW related, VERY excited about it!!! Is going to be cutting it real close to Cata's release). |

| This will be the first time since original Wow came out that I will be logged on for the first day of the release (I came back to BC 1 year before Wotlk, and came back to Wotlk 6 months before Cata). I'm sorta thinking about where I need to log my dudes out. Good reminder on emptying your bags. Still figuring out my first 5 to lvl. My multiboxing goal in Wotlk was to complete all 5-man instances on Heroic (completed), this expansion it's to become a raider, 10 man content to the point where I'm comfortable enough to multibox at least 2 dudes on a single raid. |

| Super Moderator | Related to Real Life #5, this site should have a community vent/mumble server so people can chill and chat while leveling. If enough people are interested, I can see about setting something like this up.
