Wow Auth, Keyfob/iPhone,... WTB windows mobile!!

Blizz needs to get moving on this, I know dam well I will lose / put that keyfob auth through the wash so I wont buy one. The iPhone app is great.... but make one for windows mobile! I'm not going to buy a new phone for $500 just to use one app. Not when I could write the app myself most likely if I had access to the code from blizz....

I'd gladly fork over another $20 or 30 bucks to Blizz (on top of the $1000's i have already *sigh*) if they would release this thing for windows mobile.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I agree that they should have it for more options.

Curious, I wonder if Blizzard is somehow receiving compensation from Apple/AT&T to offer this for the iPhone. Before you say it is ridiculous, both of those companies has a history of compensatory acts for exclusive or near exclusive relationships.

prob is they did it on windows moble then they why not just have a desktop app??

Well that maybe, and in reality is quite likely, how ever I still think its ridiculous, what ever chunk of change apple/at&t may have passed them this is the type of feature blizz really should make more widely available to their customers.

I could see if it was some silly cool app or something, and if it was just a "Import your character data from armory to your iPhone" type of thing or something I could careless. But I really want to get the added security of using an authenticator but dont want to have to carry around yet another device, thats why I bought my phone (AT&T Tilt bad ass btw :P ) one device to rule them all lol

Heck if I could I'd setup my own private authentication server and dedicate it just to authenticating my wow account, but having open access to the code nessicary to do that would kinda defeat the whole purpose.

As I fondle my iphone "I have no problem here" Apple did right when they did the iphone, however, it does have drawbacks. I have the armory one and dont really use it much. They dont cost 500 and have dropped in price, 100 gets u the basic one now ... well in the USA at least. Hear things are more in Europe, stupid socialist tax system.
