| Senior Member | Sometimes I go to the main city in org to train my shamans, i run thru, some people cheer and some hate us very much, e.g BG's etc. but they dont look from different point that to become a good multiboxer you need to go thru training, like setting everything up, macros, learning layout of your keyb, etc.. yesterday for example one dude whisper me when i was in AB, and said, go back to Mine! you nub! because i was at mine and holding it pretty good, and decided to go from flag and have some fun. I kept my silence and did not saying anything to him just ignored but went back to mine. guess what? nobody took mine away. and we WON. I'm not saying we won because of me multiboxing 4 shamans but i think most of the time people are just jaelous because they cant multibox, i really care less. I just ignore 'em |

| Play your game, how you want to play it. You are the one paying your subscriptions, so you make your own choices. You aren't paying his subscription, and aren't telling him how to play either. I get 20x as many people who are interested and positive than negative. The curious or the positive are informed what software I use and are directed to both boxing sites for more information. The negative are often ignored, but sometimes are asked if I have earnt a cookie or something similar; just don't be rude to them, aside from ignoring them, as that could be used against you if they report you. |

| Senior Member | There are a few different whisps that I get when i box: Ignorance - Which can go to people thinking its a botter, scammer, or hacker. To a point where they think it is against the terms of service. Angry Player - Usually someone who has been burned in a BG by a multiboxer, thus they take their hatred out on all multiboxers. Self Righteous - The player who thinks that they are better than you because they only need 1 character to enjoy the game. They usually say boxers are skilless noobs who feel they need to box to be a good player. Curious - Player who wants to know how you do it, why you do it, usually can spend an hour or so explaining, in the end I usually send them to the forums here to read more about it. And i also tell them to look up blizzards official stance on the official forums when it comes to boxing. the can i has gold guy - This is rare but happens enough to warrant a spot. A guy who sees your team and immediately says hey can I has gold since you must be rich with all those chars and gear. In the end these are the people around you, accept them for who they are, /ignore those who are rude, and be on your way. Remember that you will never change someone's opinion, its a waste of time to argue. Tell them you respect their opinion but unless they are paying for your accounts, its none of their biz how you play. All in all, enjoy yourself... otherwise why bother :P |

| Senior Member | Smith: great info, thanks!!! yeah the only thing that worries me people think you hack or autobot, I did report myself to blizzard, and told them I'm a multiboxer and i put my toons on their list just in case. i also think same way. People think -you decided to create more toons because you suck at the game and thats why you did it,but they have no green idea what it takes to do it :d. oh well i just pack my bags and go my own way.you do not need 10man to run an instance now, i'm my own guild master in little world. |

| Senior Member | I enjoy being in a formed guild with others. My guild was horde 1st to get to 25. 2nd overall. The people are decent and the perks are excellent. |

| I think most of the hate comes from people who got steamrolled by a 'boxer at some point, either in a BG or world PVP. Then there are the moralists, who have decided that it is wrong/cheating and therefore you are an awful person. I think the smallest group are the people with a big ego, who seem to feel threatened by seeing someone do something that they cannot or will not do. Those are the people who always accuse a player of multiboxing "because you can't win solo." Their self-esteem is very much caught up in how well they perform in WOW, and the thought that someone will trample them with five characters apparently scares them ****less. |

| Two real life friends of mine, are officers in one of the larger guilds on my server. One of them is actually co-guildleader. They've told a lot of people in the guild about my team of Holy Paladin + 4x Gnome DK's. The guild refers to my team as the "Cuties", as the DK's are small pink pig-tailed gnomettes, who frequently ask for cookies and such. One set of five were roleplaying a bit with them, and asking about the team. Then both of our arena queues popped at the same time. Turns out we met each other in the Dalaran Sewers arena. PvE geared teams of 1x Heals, 4x DPS that don't use CC effects at all, tend to be rather easy. After the arena, they're going on about how boxing is totally unfair and what I'm doing is bull****. But they don't really have a counter, when you ask them how they would do against five individual players each of whom has more than 3k resilience on them all. Especially if the tactics were the same... both groups rush each other right in the open, and the geared team then cleaves the less geared team. It is all perspective; my side loves me in Alterac Valley 95% of the time. Sure I get a few haters here and there. But most are happy that I'm very geared, usually take twice my number with ease, and playing on their side. |
