The last major patch, they changed BG's...
The battle doesn't start until each side has a full group ready to go.

So in theory, there won't be matches with 13 of one side, vs 4 of another, in a 15v15 BG.
In practice, there still are the mismatches, but it can take a long time till there are 15 from each faction in the queue.

As you level up to 80th, the pool gets so much larger, the queue times drop drastically. It helps if there are more members of the other faction then your across your battlegroup. But aside from changing servers, or doing the faction change, there's not much you can do about that.

ya right that system does not work then this is what we started with.

a lot the time we start with 13/15 then 5 leave and there noone on the que to re-enter the BG

av a few weeksago 3 hours to get in then it was 30/40 a few more joined before the horde won

The issue really is when people que for 2 BGs and then drop when the other one pops up.

Rather than limit you to 2 BG ques, instead, it should allow you to que for ALL of them, but once you enter, you cannot join a que for one you're que'd for.

The issue there would be that you can sometimes get queue times of 20+ minutes for the BG you want. Should you have to make a choice between waiting that long for the one you want or playing something you dont want to? I point this out because on many occasions Id join a BG just to fill in the time Id spend waiting for the BG I want to pop. Itd suck to have to make a choice like that.

i have been boxing 5 for a couple of weeks in a PVP realm. And lots of inquiries on what im doing. One asked me if I was botting and I emphatically said no Im boxing ... there is a difference. I also get asked for people to join my group, which is strange as I have not gotten into the contested areas yet. Well I did go into one and got wiped by a level 20 as I was only level 10. Nothing touched him, I kept missing.

A lot of people will also use the Arena Skirmish system to get out of a losing BG.

For example, I could take my team of Pally and Shammy x4.
Run the 4 toons in a BG.
Well queue for 2 at once, and take whichever I prefer.
Which messes up the queue for the other, as it might start and I'm not even there.

I could be on an arena team, "Just for Points".
And find I'm in a turtle or otherwise losing/undesireable BG.
So just have the pally queue for a skirmish.
And then the shammies leave the BG for the skirmish.
Which takes 10 seconds, because you just leave it.

Then queue for whatever again.
And hopefully get a winning one or at least a starting/opening BG.
