| I've also noticed that a lot of spambots will post an initial message like: Quote:

| Super Moderator | Thread necro! (But for a good reason) I was bored one night and I made a program that scans the forums every 5 minutes for new posts, and alerts if there are any. So hypothetically, when I get things working, spam posts will be taken down very quickly .

| Super Moderator | Thanks SeaofRed. The program I created is now out in the wild (only on my computer that is). It scans for new posts every 10 or 15 minutes (I'm still debating). It would be nice if I could actually login with my program so I can just look at the "new posts" page, but that would require getting the md5hash and the like. Regardless, it works as it should
