Kind of funny, that they would expect anyone to click a link, which is mispelled that attrociously.

There's a blizzard email, which is set up for people to report scam emails to. Not sure the email, but could look it up, or you could google for it. Blizzard doesn't like these scams either.

billing@blizzard.com

They really appreciate if you send them a forward of scams/phishing attempts. There are some funny attempts out there, many of them very similar to the OP's example. I once got an email that directed me to - and don't go there of course -

I think the gold farmers/spammers should just stick to in-game advertising by littering bodies everywhere. Except, in Orgrimmar, the bodies should be of little gnomes.

Hmm ok will feel really noobish now but can say I accidently pressed that link... (Yes, you can laugh... I know I made a HUGE misstake! )

Have been looking around and tried to just find this somewhere and since you have shown this email I was just wondering if you could help me calm my fears

After following this link and sadly given most of my info I got suspicious (a but late you could think) so I checked the link and "Oh... thats not blizzard" so I instantly changed my password. But was wondering if I should change something else as well? Since I didnt know what secrit question I had I noticed that I had given the wrong one to them (at leats a glimmer of hope) but was just wondering if anyone knew what they might access with email and old password?

So, there are people who are either pre ocupied or just follows the link wihtout thinking (like me) so sadly... these things work

This will save you so much trouble. Even if they do end up getting your account info, they still wouldn't be able to get into your account
