| Just about any two toon group can work. I'd personally lean towards Druid (Tank) and Priest (Healer), if you're interested in PvE at all. That gets you very quick dungeon finder queues. I'll throw in the recommendation to go to five boxing... =p. If you were, definitely go with RAF and link like this: Account 1 >> Account 3 >> Account 4 Account 2 >> Account 5 Then boost accounts 2-3-4-5, with your Druid (Feral). Get a bunch of teams to 60th, during RAF. Then decide what you want to go with thereafter. |

| Hey thanks for the advise, though i am quite worried about the coming expansion and am wondering whether going both tank and heals will become insanely difficult? i personally haven't heard much from the beta, and am quite worried about how multi-boxers will be restricted by the changes. Five boxing is something i have been wanting to do for a long time, though it will have to wait until later in the new expansion, I don't want to only get 50 days out of RAF before i start getting to 85 (have RAF'd twice before with friends and wasted a lot of time of it) |

| Well, there will be new mechanics in the expansion, no doubt. From the beta, people say there is a fair bit more movement in heroics/instances than in the current game. Still classes are given tools to DPS or Heal while moving. Every healer will have a big-slow-efficient heal, a medium-main heal, and a fast-small-inefficient heal. Most of the DPS have moves/talents which let them switch from one target to another, and instantly place their diseases/combo points/whatever onto the new target. Between Follow and a few independent slave movement keys, we will manage our followers just fine. If you can box the ICC 5-mans (as the majority of boxers can), the new stuff won't be out of reach. During the initial stage of the expansion, Justice Points will purchase similar gear to what you get in heroics, so this stage of the expansion will be the most challenging. Chances are 3-6 months after whatever the initial raid is, a higher tier of pvp/raids will come out. At which point Justice Points will buy gear superior to what is necessary to run heroics; at that point, heroics will once more be the emblem/point farming that they are today. As the expansion progresses, this will become more true. Even if we cannot box a given encounter initially, we will be able to several months into the expansion. Our biggest asset is that we don't have to have idiots in our groups. Warcraft has gone the route of balancing against the average boxer, instead of Everquest's approach of challenging the top 0.02% of the player base with content that 90% cannot do until the next expansion. When things are balanced around the average player, boxers can accomplish a lot. |

I do agree WoW has basically gone the noob approach, it still remains the truth that the extremely large amount of WoW players never see raid content. I remember when Ulduar came out, I read a stat saying that only 6% of WoW gamers were doing that raid (One of the wow profile sites listed this). So if 94% of WoW gamers aren't raiding, why is Blizzard putting easily the bulk of their time into content players aren't using? It seems to me that Blizzard is spending 80%+ of their time into content that only 5% of people will see. Not to mention that Blizzard is constantly adding features to destroy in-game community.... Yea, the world is ripe for somebody to come along with the big "killer". | |
