US/Alliance - Real ID (Cross Realm) PvP Premades

I'm quite interested in doing this; I'm playing Alliance on US based servers.

I am most interested in boxing a 1x Paladin & 4x Death Knight team, as a 5-man unit.
They're slightly better than full honor gear, for the current season (390 iLV, all PvP gearing).
Fully gemmed and enchanted.
This has been my primary PvP team for two expansions, and PvP has been my primary wow activity.

For a change of pace, I have 5x Resto Druids, in almost full honor gear for the current season.

Although the patch notes clearly indicate normal battlegrounds... it turns out while this was initially the intention, currently cross-server Real-ID raids for Battlegrounds is restricted to Rated Battlegrounds.

You can get Conquest Points for Random Battlegrounds and/or the Weekend Bonus Honor Battleground, at a rate of 100 for the first win in either and then 50 for each subsequent win in either.
Rated, Random, and Bonus Honor BG's cap at 1,650 points on the week, while Arena caps at 1,350 (I think; it is lower).
You can mix and match CP generating games (Arena and BG's), but cannot exceed the total weekly cap of 1,650.

I'm thinking about getting back into Wow. I've been playing off and on since 2008 and almost always PVP. A few questions if you don't mind.

Are you interested in premades with anyone or just with other MB'ers?

Would/do you use Vent?

What class(es) would work best with your setup? I've played a lot of competitive PVP with hunter and rogue, and some ret pally. I've done a little PVE and PVP MB.

How is the Alliance economy on Cenarius?

How many PCs do you use to MB 5 toons?

Why don't you use the Vuhdoo addon?

Hey there!

For 5 toons, any of the core i3/i5/i7 would work just fine. In fact, even the semi modern PCs these days can even do 10 (8GB of ram can do 10 from what I hear, but 12GB for sure). Seriously, wow uses so little CPU it is nuts. I've done 70+ on a system with 24G of ram and an i7 980x.

Cenarius, I'm not sure. You'd probably want to check out wow-census or some sort of census. Generally speaking, high pop = high economy.

Vuhdoo, not sure, what does it do?

Check out Pwnboxer's Channel - YouTube there are a few new videos there. I use basically an out-of-the-box UI TusUI + Jamba + Pwnboxer.com multiboxing software of course.

All in all, really good.

Oh 1 last thing. I currently do 3x guys at once VS 5. I've found a *lot* of multiboxers these days are doing 3 vs 5 simply because a) You can LFD for heroics/raids pretty easy, no need to do heals/tank. b) You end up being a bit better at 10/15 man BGs because you are 3 versus 5. For example, WSG is a nightmare for a 5x boxer. However a 3x boxer dominates so hardcore it isn't even funny. My 3x Druid team probably has 90%+ win rates on WSG.

The best you can do, with Real ID, is one of two approaches.

You can fill an entire premade, with Real ID friends.
And then run a Rated Battleground.

Or you can coordinate with AV Enabler (on each given server) and count down on Vent/Skype across the servers...
To increase the chances of getting into the same BG as the other players.

I have the most fun in AV, with quite a bit in WSG, EotS and AB as well.
Most of the vehicle BG's are less fun, because boxing vehicles doesn't work as well as an equal number of solo players... and honestly, I'd rather play Feral Druids or Death Knights than Catapults or Siege Engines.
I do like Isle of Conquest quite a bit, despite the vehicles...

Premades with anyone would work, I'd be most interested in doing so with other boxers.
I'm actually considering moving one team to a high population boxing server, to play with other boxers; but nothing is finalized.

I'm usually playing a Paladin with four Frost Death Knights; a healer would be nice, if someone were to be in my vicinity... for the smaller BG's, always having a minimum of five in one place can be a disadvantage.
I've lost an Arathi Basin game, in which all 15 horde failed to take Blacksmith from my five, but despite holding any one base, the remaining ten players could not hold two bases.

Cenarius is a medium population realm, but the split is 80% Alliance; so it effectively has as large of an alliance population as most of the heavily populated realms.
The economy and auction house are strong on the alliance side, but rather pathetic on the horde side.
