Two "Refer A Friend" questions

I have my 5 accounts set up, but i notice that some of them are showing as gaining only 100% or 200% exp when i hover over the XP bar.

This does not seem right. How can I be sure i am getting the 300% RAF bonus?

Oh, and should any character be able to summon any other? Or is that limited to only the referring an referred characters?

Check your combat log after a kill. You should see the break down of XP attributed to group and/or RAF bonus.

Only the referrer and referree can summon one another.

To get RAF, all of these conditions must be true:

- Grouped with a toon, whose account is directly linked to yours.
- Within a certain proximity to that toon.
- Within +/- 4 levels of that toon.
- Quest/Mobs are not grey to either toon.
- Both toons are level 59 or lower.

Thanks Ualaa, so my 5 man shammy team meets ALL of those criteria, (they are all linked to at LEAST one other toon, are all lvl 8, all on /follow, and are beating on lvl 6/7 mobs.

What should i be seeing in the combat log after a kill?

It should be something like:

66 experience points (44 Recruit a Friend).



The easy test will be to ungroup your first toon.
Use it to tag the mob, and kill it with the whole group.
And observe the experience from a solo kill.

Then group up the toons.
And compare the chat message.

With five toons, 300% divided by five ways, should be close to 60% (just over half) the experience on every toon, that the solo toon gets on their own.
