| I dont rely on that realm server website - i found it to be inaccurate for over 1 year. I just posted the top 7 Pvp alliance controlled server so tim can ponder it. Unless it has been refreshed and updated recently

| I've found more PvP to occur on close to even population servers, than on servers which are skewed one side or the other. If you're on the side with a lot of toons, you generally have a good auction house... but almost no PvP. You can go to their city, and most will not flag themselves, because of the imbalance. If you're on the side with very few toons, you'll essentially never hold the three towers in Hellfire Peninsula, because you'll be outnumbered massively until that becomes "old" content. On the outnumbered side, your auction house is going to blow, there won't be much of anything available. If you want a decent auction house, and to have world pvp... you'll be better off on a medium to high population realm that has a fairly even split of toons. That way both sides have a decent number of characters, which drives the economy. I'd imagine bots in the auction house are going to be a factor everywhere, but the larger the server the more of an issue that will be... because there are more people who are buying gold on that server. The ideal might be a high population realm, with a split of no more than 45%/55%. If its skewed further than that, one side is high population and actually gets less world pvp (but gets to 'For the Alliance/Horde' often) with a decent AH.... while the other side cannot fight back effectively because of attrition/sheer numbers, and their AH is dead. I mentioned Magtheridon because the PvP is very active both ways, and the economy is strong. Plus its neat to have 25 other boxing teams (not merely 25 toons boxed) on, at the same time.

| Okay so what about this: PVP Server I roll Alliance for the first time?!?! 5x Team (with a goal to have 5x of all classes) The server must have more horde than alliance, a ratio I'd say max of 2:1 High population So with that said, and the servers you know and like, which would you pick? |

| Space Girls have such sexy tails... But pink pig-tailed Gnomettes are great too. Humans are boring/normal, but actually end up with some of the best looking toons in assorted armor sets... plus their racial (free trinket) blows everything else out of the water.

| I have always enjoyed watching your 5x streams a bit more than the 3x streams. I will always remember the 5x Shammies blowing up AV! I agree with others who have said that you should start with 5x that way you can have a group that you level up quickly. Maybe have a 3x group on the side that you create that you can play with on days when you feel burned out playing the 5x and wish to have social interaction, that way the other 2 toons you'd leave out of the 3x pvp wouldn't fall behind. |
