Hey there,

I always find it really interesting what people in the community do for a living. The last post we did on this was very, very interesting!

All right guys and gals, what do you do for a living?

I'll start:

I run a small internet development company and have recently started a small advertising company for internet ad sales. I also help people sell their websites and web companies.

Interesting job. It sounds like you could be sort of a detective like company to research certain markets?

Do you do things like market cap analysis, leaders, barriers for new entry, stuff like that?

And what on earth does NulliSeccundus mean anyway?

For the last year, I've been doing internal software development for a cell tower company, building out their intranet (.NET technologies, reporting, wiki, JIRA).

For the 3 years prior to that, I worked (software development) on a product that helps retailers reach out to multiple channels to sell their products (marketplaces like Amazon, comparison shopping sites and search engines). I specifically focused on the search engine side, working with the APIs of Google, Yahoo and MSN.

And for the 12 years prior to that, I worked for Micro$oft, in the Microsoft Office group doing development for things ranging from the Microsoft Office Online web site to something else (give you a hint: I've been nicknamed 'Clippy').

Unemployed! I was a restaurant manager for 2 years prior. I'm back in school working on a computer science degree.
