Default Tim, Your pwnboxer settings?

What do your limit your frames to on your windows or do you?And do you assign them to specific cores? I was just wondering.

Okay so for my machine that I 5boxed for years, this is what I was doing:

Dual core CPU, 5x WoW

Main WoW #1
Core #1
Max 30fps
Background 15fps
Graphics -> Medium (well, with the new slider that is the equiv)

Sub WoW #2 - #5
All share Core #2
Max 15fps
Background 7fps
Graphics -> Low

For some reason, WoW seems to run smoother at 7fps then 9 or 10 fps, so I stuck with 7. Also, the 15fps gives me enough to get by if I do window swaps nicely.

I never ever noticed any slowdowns with that setup and everything ran really smooth. The only exception is Lagaran and Winterlag, but, well, those zones were meant to lag it seems

EDIT: My new system can run 30 WoWs at once, I just tried, so assigning cores, well, heh, yea.

On a side note, it really comes down to follow mode. Spell casts usually always will be synched up, but follow mode is something that is very fragile, and once broken, well, you know what happens.

I have noticed that to correctly follow somebody without any issues then 5fps is what is needed. Once you drop below 5fps then you risk follow mode being broken.

I actually did some intensive testing on this and for whatever reason, 5fps is the magic number
