| A goblin dk whispered and said blizz bans multiboxers in arenas, but powerleveling, questing, and instances are fine - does blizzard restrict where multiboxers can go and do in the game? |

| I emphatically answer your question with: No. There are haters out there, whether its because they are jealous of what we can do and would like to themselves but aren't sure how or cannot afford it... or perhaps a multiboxer blew them up repeatedly in pvp (as if 5 single players, who practice together on an arena team, are all geared to the teeth, and coordinate on vent/teamspeak/skype aren't going to similarly win a 5v1 encounter...). Multiboxers have won #1 in their battlegroup in 5's, in at least three of the seasons. The only restrictions that apply to boxers also applies to non-boxers. That being no "botting". Botting is essentially delayed actions. People argue the semantics of one keystroke means only one action, while literally thousands of boxers have multiple keystrokes as a result of one input and without any issue despite Blizzard banning an average of 30,000 accounts per month and doing that every month since the game went live over seven years ago. People also argue "third party software", which they conveniently forget includes their mouse driver and operating system... Aside from severe harassment of other players, racial slurs in general chat, hacking accounts, etc... aside from those behaviours which would result in anyone being banned... The only thing the average boxer needs to avoid religiously that could possibly ensue as a result of "normal" boxing is delayed keystrokes or actions. No matter how many things occur as a result of your single input, they all have to occur now when the input occurs. You cannot click something now, and have a result a few seconds from now that is not a result of an input that occurred then. In other words, take my DK team. I push the "1" key (which I've used in PvP, both BG's and Arena). The non-active windows assist the main window (no Global Cool Down, but an action nonetheless). The DK's receive my Interact With Target keybind (also off of the GCD). The DK's receive the keybind for Howling Blast (a Frost Rune ability, that is on the GCD). The Paladin receives a keybind, that has her heal her Focus target with her first castsequence. On the release of the "1" key... The DK's receive the instruction to run a mapped key, which has each of them do the Mind Freeze (single/current target has their spell interrupted), this is off of the GCD; I have it set so they round-robin, casting one after the other -- each cast as a direct result of my input, but with each subsequent cast unable to go off no matter how I spam my key for 2.5 seconds. The DK's receive five additional keybinds: a) Howling Blast, b) Frost Strike, c) Frost Strike, d) Necrotic Strike, e) The Battle-Rez macro, each targeting a different toon. All of these are on the GCD, meaning if anything else is already on cooldown, nothing can fire off even though they received several keystrokes all at once (I have "electronically" glued a popsicle stick across several keys and am pushing them all together). Because of Rune availability and Runic Power, some abilities cannot fire even if the keybind is received; if they're not on GCD, from the "key down" portion one of the "key up" abilities will randomly be slightly ahead of the others and fire off. The Paladin, receives her second castsequence at focus healing macro on key release. That is a boatload of key strokes Warcraft receives both as a result of my pressing a key and as a result of my releasing the key. But they all occur now, as an immediate result of my input. I've been boxing with this type of a setup, as have at least several hundred boxers who arena with their teams. No one has been banned or suspended, as a result of this play. I've been using it for at least four years, without issues. And Blizzard can track every action (user input) in the game and knows who is doing what. My boxing software (third party -- not my software, not Blizzard's), cannot delay actions to occur later than the event that caused them. This is true for most of the boxing software on the market. Auto Hot Key (AHK) can be used to create a "bot", and even something as simple as: Press "1", and have it send "1", wait 1.5 seconds for the GCD, and press "1" again... well that is botting, even if you're at the keyboard all the time. I do possess a G15 keyboard. It has 18 "G-Keys", which I use as hotkeys for my boxing software. When I press G13, the character on Account A moves into region 1. When I press G14, the character on Account B moves into region 1. That type of action is completely fine. It possesses the ability to create macros. It can remember keystrokes you input and repeat those keystrokes. If I have it remember to Control + M (bring up the mini PvP zone map in battlegrounds), no big deal. A friend of mine did not like the 2 hour queue time, at the release of a recent expansion. He would have auctioneer set to repeatedly scan the auction house (which is fine). He also had his G15 run a twenty minute macro (on endless loop mode), which would minutely have the character press the left turn key for a fraction of a second, and then nine minutes later jump, and six minutes later turn right, etc. The "looped" events occurred often enough to never AFK out of the game. But they were predictable even if a normal player would never notice a pattern. Doing that kind of a thing, even if it seems innocuous, will result in a ban eventually. |

![]() Blizzard fully allows multiboxing in every single aspect of the game. You can literally farm LFD heroics 24x7 (I know some who do and earn quite a lot of gold/day) or farm Arena for tears. GO FOR IT | |
