Tim - Pwnboxer videos on Youtube

Some idiot is taking tons of boxing videos and posting them as videos of people who are using Pwnboxer.

Several people have said many of the videos are theirs, and that they weren't using Pwnboxer. One of the top hits is Aelli 2200 Unstoppable, and Pwnboxer didn't even exist when he made the video.

Quite a few people from the other site are upset at this, and are assuming it is your doing; not sure on that, but thought you should get a heads up.

umm i dont get where you are coming from with this, 1. there videos do not have copyright on them 2. adding a link in the description telling people where they can get multiboxing software is not at all wrong and lastly clickbank doesent care where the traffic comes from. Sorry if it affends you in some way and i have stayed well clear of other affiliate videos so i dont see what the problem is.

It states HERE that Pwnboxer is the software being used in the video. if this is in fact true, then there is no issue. If it is not, then this is misleading.

Not to mention each video has been been posted about 10 times, all with the same links. They will eventually be removed as spam, unless the user(s) remove them first.

The problem is that it is not your video - you are strait up being dishonest.

Well in all honnesty i didnt realise the videos said "i use pwnboxer" becuase it is all automatic and im still configuring it but i have fixed all th videos now so there is no problem, if you find any videos still saying "i said" or "i use" ect just pm me the links and i will fix it.

You might want to read up on copyrights before putting such a statement. Upon creation, everything is protected by copyright. It doesn't need to be stated in the *creation* nor does it needs to be registered. None of the videos (at least the majority I've checked) came we a free from copyright statement.

What you did is pure copyright infringement and theft. The fact that you try to make a buck out of someone else his/her work is even worse. The fact that you spam them and make it look like they were created with another software than the one used in the video is misleading, deceiving and nothing but fraud. In the EU for one this is a crime, in the US 'bait & switch' is a crime.

And the worst part of it all is that you abuse the common sense among normal people. Pretty sad to see idiots abusing genuine efforts to share content for their own profit, at the expense of the multiboxing community.

And by the way, what you did was in complete violation with the youtube copyright policy. I can only hope any form of legal prosecution will happen to prevent this happening in the future.

On a final note: I can't imagine that any serious affiliate marketing program would support this kind of *techniques*, for their own reputation and the reputation of the product they stand for.
